About Us

Why this blog?

• We are inundated with request to conduct workshops for new migrants or executives moving to Australia in different languages. We believe there are a lot of good information available on the Internet but people do not know which sites to trust or where to find the information. As Australia's Multicultural Expert, with 20 years working for Commonwealth, State and local governments and blue chip corporations in projects across over 50 languages, we would like to provide trust worthy and useful information to people who come to work and live in Australia.

Mission 

• To provide one-stop trust worthy multilingual information about settling in Australia for migrants, tourists, work visa holiday makers and investing business people

How does it work?

• MulticulturalOz is an information aggregation site where we provide you with trust worthy and useful information about settling in Australia
• At the moment, it is gathered by dedicated staff at Multicultural Marketing and Management (MMM), a multi-award winning communication agency in Australia for the last 20 years, from trust worthy websites
• MMM may invite experienced multicultural consultants to guest post for us from time to time
• We are open for submission of guest post from trust worthy and non-sale related sources

How is it funded?

• It is funded by advertising from selected advertisers, advertising from Amazon and MMM
• We are also open to donation
• Our aim for 2013 is to raise AUD$5,000 to sponsor an Oxfam project targetting education
• 80% of advertising revenue and donation will be allocated to an Oxfam project
• 20% will be used for maintenance of the blog
